  1. vanmega: Actually, I remember my first download.  It was about 11 years ago, and it was that white label remix/mash-up of Stardust’s Music Sounds Better With You vs Madonna’s Holiday. It was completely mind blowing!  Not the song (actually, yes it was) but the fact I had a copy of a song sent to me across copper telephone wires… a copy of a song that was beyond impossible (trust me I checked) to find in any physical music store… and that copy was in perfect CD quality. INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY FOREVER! Anyways, that completely blew the doors off the experience of buying my first vinyl album… aka the Beverly Hills Cop 2 soundtrack.
